You have a much better chance of trapping the community cats (for TNR of course) that you feed and whom you live near than someone else does. This is why we emphatically encourage people feeding cats to trap these cats themselves (with loaned traps from one of many trap depots which can be found on this page). The cats are already familiar with your smells, your sounds, what you look like, etc. New people showing up with new smells and sounds often spooks cats and can make it difficult, sometimes even impossible, to trap them. YOU have the best chance of trapping the community cats you feed for TNR, especially if there is an urgent medical need.
